Sunshine Stars FC (SSFC) wishes to inform the general public particularly the Clubs in the NPFL about it’s player, Israel Abia who is presently AWOL.

The club also stated that the last time they saw Abia was 29th of December 2019.

Speaking with Mr Chris,

Abia has been away from the Club since Sunday without an official leave, while the rest of the group remained in Akure to continue preparations for the upcoming NPFL matches at the turn of the New Year.

The club suspect that he might have a deal with some football agents or top clubs in the league, later issue warning to any agent or club side approaching the forward for a possible deal should desist because they might take legal action, as the player is contracted to Sunshine Stars FC.

At the current time of this publication Abia is still missing, no report from his parents or guardian about sunshine Stars claims.
