Super Eagles has enjoyed a steady growth in the management of the german tatician Gernot Rohr

The Super Eagles is now ranked 29th in the world and 3rd in africa compare to 67th position four years ago when Rohr took the job
Although their are mixed reactions about his role also guiding the super Eagles to the 2018 FIFA world cup in Russia with a game to spare.
Although he didn’t progress to the next round of the competition.
But he deliver a bronze trophy for the Eagles finishing third in the AFCON
“Of course, we are happy about it,” Rohr told ESPN qouted via completsports.
“It’s a good progress, due to the good results and performances of the team. And yes, I think we can be a little bit proud of it, but we have to still work a lot to get better. We want to be better of course all the time.”
“When I arrived we were not number three (in Africa). We were much lower. So, it’s good to see that we are in the right way.
“And when you see the age of our players you can believe that we still can be better and will progress. If everybody is working well and hard and there is a good spirit, we still can go higher. That’s what we want to do.”
