Head Coach of Remo Stars, Daniel Ogunmodede has expressed happiness for his side after a 5-0 thrashing of Godosky FC in match day one of the Nigeria National League.
Speaking with Remo Stars Media, he says he is elated, and he felt very happy for the boys, he expected more from them, and they showed it.
“I feel elated, I feel happy for the boys. They are young boys and much is expected from them because much is given to them, and they indeed showed that in the game against Godosky FC.”
“I am absolutely sure we would get the maximum points but didn’t think of a 5 goals margin against a team that has charisma and a very good physic. Overtime I know we create chances and once we are able to convert those chances, we would get nothing less than three goals. Today, we had between six and seven chances, and we were able to convert just five which is not bad.”
“I must credit Morgan, he is a delight to watch. The young boy grew from our U15 level. He was on the bench because he was sick and just recovered few days back and I never wanted to bring him too much pressure. For me, everyone is my key player because I don’t always want to put much load on the boys, so I make everyone my key player but Morgan is an important player for me.” Ogunmodede Concludes.
