The second tier of the Nigerian football league NNL is unlikely to resume on the 30th of January.
Vandrezzer FC and Remo Stars played a friendly match on Friday afternoon (29th of January).
This hint is well enough to understand that the league might not resume as earlier scheduled.
The body that organize the lower tier competition, reportedly had an emergency gathering to decide the way forward for the league, and the outcome of the meeting is to propone the resumption date in order to solve the issues raised during the meeting.
Majority of the club’s have undergo the mandatory Covid-19 test, in preparation for the new season.
