The Spanish FA are planning to start new season September.
The president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas, wants his competition’s 2020/21 start date to be September 12, immediately after that month’s international break.
The league has been cut short due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The laliga president, is very optimistic that his side will continue the league, also blasting the France FA for ending the league soon.
With few more matches to go the league was restarted in June.
The race for the champion is slightly open for Barcelona, as they will wish there bitter rival Real Madrid will have to drop 4 points.
But Tebas is more optimistic that the novel coronavirus won’t affect the restart of the 2020/2021 laliga campaign.
The Premier League may need to follow suit in order to complete a season which is book-ended by the delayed Euro 2020 finals.
