Following his decent performance with PAOK in Greece

Middlesbrough has secured the service of the Nigeria youngster Chuba Akpom who left Arsenal to join PAOK
“I’m delighted to finally have got him,” said the boss.
“He’s been my number one choice. I’ve wanted him for a long time. I’d like to give a big thanks to Neil Bausor for getting it done.
“I told him what we were doing at the club, and right from day one, he wanted to come, and I’m delighted.”
Warnock had spoken with the player about his aims and hopes for the club, and Akpom was delighted to complete the formalities and sign a three-year contract with an option of a further year.
Akpom joins Sam Morsy, Marcus Bettinelli, and Grant Hall in joining the Boro as Warnock looks to shape his squad.
